You can install any VISA library for our IVI instrument drivers; however, they may not work with the older versions of the VISA library.
In addition, there may be compatibility issues between the VISA library and the development software. If you use NI LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI, we recommend using NI-VISA. If you use Keysight VEE, we recommend using Keysight IO Libraries Suite.
The IVI instrument drivers themselves have no compatibility issues with the VISA libraries.
