The regeneration function of PCR-WE2R/WEA2R refers to the process by which load power is converted into reusable power and recovered within the local facility or system (in AC line).
Only models with “R” at the end of the model name have the regeneration function, which is not available in the previous PCR-M and PCR-W series. This function reduces the heat dissipation, saves power, and is also applicable to the DC mode.
PCR-WE2R/WEA2R are designed for local regeneration applications. If the local power consumption is less than the regenerated power, regeneration is not possible.
In addition, if a power source such as a battery is connected as a load, the regenerated power may exceed the local power consumption.
