The efficiency of PCR-LE series is 50% or more at the maximum output. Therefore, the distribution breaker with an 8 kVA rating is enough for PCR4000LE, and a 4 kVA rating is enough for PCR2000LE.
The inrush current is instantaneously drawn by PCR-LE series at power-on, but it only lasts during the half cycle of the waveform. So, most all distribution breakers can handle the inrush current because it occurs within the breaker’s dead zone. Furthermore, the leakage current from the noise filter of PCR-LE series is very low (less than 1 mA) that the standard earth-leakage circuit breakers can withstand.
